Autumn Walk to Rothamstead Park

We have been continuing to  enjoy learning all about Autumn over the past few weeks. On Thursday 9th November 2017 we were lucky enough to go on an Autumn walk. In our groups we walked along the high street and then into the park. We then split up into our groups and enjoyed collecting different Autumn Objects. We then used these objects to carry out some writing and make some Autumn collages.

We even managed to spend some time in the playground before heading back to school.
In maths over the past few weeks, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. The children have enjoyed taking part on shape hunts around the school.

This week in class we have been talking about how we can all be a good friend to someone and what to do if someone is being bullied. To show our support for Anti- Bullying week , on Friday we all wore something blue to school.
Next week in class we are thinking about Autumn leaves and will be using them in some of our activities. Please ensure your child comes to school with suitable clothing to wear outside as it is now getting cold. Could you also ensure that you child has a black jumper and jogging bottoms in their PE kit as some lessons will take place outside.

Many Thanks
Miss Parmley
